Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings
Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO) is one of the largest out-of-home (OOH) advertising companies in the United States, operating more than 61,000 print and digital displays across roadside billboards, street furniture, and airport advertising in 81 U.S. designated market areas, including 43 of the top 50, plus more than 55 commercial airports. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, the company became an independent public company in 2019 after separating from iHeartMedia, and has since divested its Europe-South, Europe-North, and Latin American businesses to focus on its core America and Airports segments. On February 9, 2026, Clear Channel Outdoor entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Mubadala Capital in partnership with TWG Global Holdings in an all-cash take-private transaction, with shareholders set to receive $2.43 per share, a 71% premium to the unaffected share price. Apollo-managed funds have committed preferred equity and a lender group led by JPMorgan Chase has committed debt financing for the deal.
