Advent International acquired the company (then CCC Information Services) from Leonard Green Partners and TPG Capital in 2017 in a deal reported to value the business at approximately $3 billion. CCC went public in 2021 via a SPAC merger with Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp at an approximate $7 billion enterprise value and trades on the Nasdaq as CCCS.
