Arcus Hunting
Arcus Hunting is a Covington, Georgia-based acquisition and organic growth platform in the bowhunting and archery consumables and accessories category, marketing brands including Tinks deer lures and attractants, Dead Down Wind scent control products, Ramcat Broadheads, Trophy Taker, and Rack One. Bregal Partners formed Arcus in 2014 through its Bregal Partners I fund and built it through a series of acquisitions including Obsession Archery, Ramcat Broadheads, Trophy Taker, Dead Down Wind, and Tinks. Leadership has included Phil Robinson, President and CEO from 2015 to 2020 and later Chairman of the Board, Corey Consuegra, President from 2020 to early 2023, and Jody Agnew, who became CEO in 2023. Bregal Partners sold Arcus Hunting in July 2023, the first of six portfolio companies divested from its 2013-vintage Bregal Partners I fund.
