Bregal Partners is a New York-based private equity firm founded in 2012 that invests in established, primarily founder-owned middle-market businesses across three target verticals: consumer and multi-unit, food and beverage, and business services. The firm has 1.25 billion dollars of committed capital and typically invests 20 to 150 million dollars of equity in companies generating 5 to 75 million dollars or more of EBITDA, pursuing management buyouts, corporate carve-outs, going-private transactions, and recapitalizations. Bregal Partners is part of Bregal Investments, a global private equity platform controlled by the Brenninkmeijer family foundation that has invested more than 12 billion euros since 2002 across strategies including Bregal Sagemount, Bregal Milestone, Bregal Sphere, and BU. Bregal Partners portfolio companies have included TDBBS, Oggi Foods, Ju-Ju-Be, American Seafoods, Arcus Hunting, Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, and Landscape Maintenance Professionals.
