Tomohiro Takada co-founded Cardio Intelligence alongside cardiologist Yuichi Tamura, beginning joint research into AI-based arrhythmia analysis in 2016 before the companys 2019 founding. As CTO, he has led development of the SmartRobin AI series deep-learning models, including a 2021 published research collaboration on neural-network interpretability techniques that let the AI explain the clinical basis for its arrhythmia detections to users, published in the International Heart Journal.
