Skylar Tibbits is a co-founder of Rapid Liquid Print and the founder and co-director of MIT's Self-Assembly Lab, where the Gravity Free Manufacturing (originally Rapid Liquid Printing) process was developed in collaboration with designer Christophe Guberan and furniture maker Steelcase, first shown publicly at Design Miami 2017. His research spans self-assembly, programmable materials, and digital fabrication.
