Shinichiro Kon

Shinichiro Kon completed a master's degree at the Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Science and Engineering. He joined Aisin Seiki in 2013, working on mechanical design and deep-learning AI research and development, and was seconded to IMRA Europe SAS in 2016 for facial-recognition deep-learning research. After returning to Aisin Seiki in 2017 and a secondment to Toyota Research Institute Advanced Development in 2018, he worked on facial recognition for driver monitoring systems and AI for autonomous-driving environment perception. He joined Instalimb in 2019 and oversees development of its automated design AI algorithms and 3D-CAD software as Director and CTO.
