Pablo Sconfianza was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Merlin Entertainments in September 2025, having first taken the role on an interim basis in April 2025. He oversees financial management, planning, reporting, taxation, treasury, procurement and M&A, and plays a lead role in capital allocation and investment decisions for the business. Before joining Merlin he was Group Financial Controller at British American Tobacco, and earlier held roles including Group Head of Commercial Finance, Regional Finance Controller for Europe and North Africa, and country Finance Director positions in Malaysia, Romania and Russia.
