Lanny Baker joined Etsy, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer effective January 2025, succeeding the retiring Rachel Glaser, and oversees Strategic Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Strategic Sourcing, and Corporate Development. Baker previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Eventbrite from 2019, adding the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2024. Before Eventbrite, Baker was CFO at Yelp, leading corporate finance, investor relations, and workplace functions during a period of significant growth, and has also served as CEO and CFO of Zip Realty and as CFO of Monster Worldwide. Baker began his career as an equity research analyst covering the internet and e-commerce sectors at Salomon Brothers, later Salomon Smith Barney and Citigroup. Baker has served on the boards of directors of multiple internet companies, including Leaf Group, XO Group, and HomeAway.
