Jyri Engestrom

Jyri Engestrom has invested in several unicorns including Unity, Oura, Iceye and Boom Supersonic. He began his entrepreneurial career with Jaiku, a mobile social networking service co-founded with Petteri Koponen and sold to Google in 2007, and later sold his second company, recommendation service Ditto, to Groupon in 2012. In 2020 he founded Primary Diagnostics, a US healthcare platform. He spent four years at Silicon Valley venture firm True Ventures, investing in Iceye alongside Lifeline, and is also a Partner at Yes VC, a firm he co-founded with Caterina Fake in San Francisco.
