Justin Kolbeck co-founded Wildtype in 2016 with Aryé Elfenbein and has led the company as CEO through its development of cultivated salmon and a $100 million Series B raised in February 2022. He previously worked as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. State Department before moving into biotechnology entrepreneurship.
