Jonathan Pollack officially joined Starwood Capital Group as President on April 1, 2025, bringing more than 26 years of experience in real estate investing. Previously, he served as Global Head of Blackstone's Real Estate Credit business (BREDS) since 2016, where he oversaw the growth of assets under management from $10 billion to $84 billion and managed a leading global commercial real estate lending platform. Before Blackstone, Pollack was the global head of commercial real estate at Deutsche Bank, where he established the firm as the top CMBS issuer and leading special situations investor following the 2008 financial crisis. He serves on all of Starwood Capital's key committees, including the Executive, Investment, Disposition, Valuation, and Operating Committees.
