Jimmy Samartzis is the Chief Executive Officer of LanzaJet, leading the company’s global expansion in renewable fuels technology and sustainable aviation fuel production. He previously held executive roles at United Airlines, including CEO of a $2B business unit, and has advised clients worldwide with Oliver Wyman, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Slalom. Jimmy holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, an MA from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from the University of Chicago. He is recognized for pioneering commercial-scale renewable jet fuel initiatives and serves on several nonprofit and scientific boards.
