Fiona Eastwood was appointed CEO of Merlin Entertainments in February 2025, after leading the business on an interim basis since November 2024 following Scott O'Neil's departure. She joined Merlin in 2015 as Global Marketing Director for Gateway Attractions and rose to Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for Gateway attractions globally and Merlin's Resort Theme Parks across the UK and Europe, before taking the top job after a decade at the company. Before Merlin, she was Managing Director of Consumer Products at BBC Studios, leading a digital turnaround of that division. She is a non-executive director of UKHospitality, a member of the UK Government's Visitor Economy Advisory Council, and a trustee of the homelessness charity Only a Pavement Away.
