Fei-Fei Li is the co-founder and CEO of World Labs, a spatial intelligence company building Large World Models for 3D perception, generation, and interaction. She is the inaugural Sequoia Professor in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University and a founding co-director of Stanford HAI, the Human-Centered AI Institute, having previously served as director of the Stanford AI Lab from 2013 to 2018. She invented ImageNet and the ImageNet Challenge, a large scale visual dataset and benchmark widely credited as one of the driving forces behind the deep learning revolution, and later served as Vice President and Chief Scientist of AI/ML at Google Cloud during a 2017 to 2018 sabbatical from Stanford. Known widely as the godmother of AI, she is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Medicine, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and is the author of the memoir The Worlds I See.
