S2G Investments (formerly S2G Ventures) is a multi-asset investment firm founded in 2014 by Chuck Templeton that backs market-defining businesses at the seams of food and agriculture, energy, and oceans. The firm invests across venture, growth, and special-opportunities capital, targeting the points where these commodity-driven, policy-sensitive sectors overlap to address emissions, food security, and supply-chain resilience. Since 2014 S2G has invested in more than 120 portfolio companies, including Beyond Meat, Sweetgreen, Apeel Sciences, and Shiru, and closed its $1 billion Solutions Fund I in May 2026 to fund the growth stage Missing Middle for companies commercializing transformative technologies.
