Vista Equity Partners completed the acquisition of Duck Creek Technologies (NASDAQ: DCT) for $19.00 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.6 billion, a 46% premium to the prior closing price. Announced January 9, 2023 and closed March 30, 2023. Duck Creek CEO Michael Jackowski said the deal would help accelerate the industrys transition to the cloud; Jeff Wilson, Managing Director at Vista, led the deal for the firm.
