Montagu acquires majority stake in BMC Helix

Montagu agreed in June 2026 to acquire a majority stake in BMC Helix in a carve-out transaction from KKR-owned BMC Software. KKR and BMC will retain a minority stake in Helix while KKR maintains full ownership of BMC Software, which explored a $1.5 billion sale of Helix earlier in 2026 before structuring this carve-out instead. CEO Ali Siddiqui remains in place.
