Trive Capital formed Canopy Aerospace & Defense in September 2025 by combining two portfolio companies, Hera Technologies and MSM Industries, with a newly established R&D center of excellence, Canopy Aerospace Inc., to deliver advanced insulative, absorptive, and signal-reducing materials to defense, maritime, and space customers.
