WIG Korea Ltd.
WIG Korea Ltd. (위그코리아) is a South Korean ferry operator based on Ulleungdo, set up specifically to run WIG craft passenger service between Ulleungdo and the mainland ports of Pohang and Busan. The company signed its first order with Aron Flying Ship in mid-2017 and has expanded it over time, ultimately contracting for around 20 M80-class craft to cut the roughly 3.5-to-4-hour conventional ferry crossing to about an hour. WIG Korea is listed as one of Aron's own affiliated "family sites," so the relationship reads as closer than an arms-length customer, more like a dedicated operating partner built around Aron's own aircraft.
