Valeo Foods is a Dublin-headquartered European ambient food company with a portfolio of category-defining brands including Jacobs, Rowse, Kettle, Odlums, Barratt, and Balconi, some with histories stretching back 150 years. Established in 2010 by CapVest through the merger of Batchelors and Origin Foods, Valeo grew rapidly through more than a dozen acquisitions, expanding annual net sales from under 200 million euros in 2010 to over 1.1 billion euros by 2021. Bain Capital Private Equity acquired Valeo Foods from CapVest in May 2021 for more than 1.7 billion euros.
