Synthego
Synthego was a genome engineering company that developed synthetic guide RNA and CRISPR reagents for research, cell and gene therapy, and diagnostics; it was co-founded by Michael Dabrowski, Alex Pesch, and Paul Dabrowski. Fabian Gerlinghaus and Omar Kurdi worked there as Chief Innovation Officer and a fellow alumnus, respectively, before founding Cellares. The company sold its engineered cell solutions business to EditCo Bio in 2024 and was acquired by life sciences investor Perceptive Advisors in 2025.
