Swig
Swig is a Utah-based drive-thru beverage chain and the originator of the "dirty soda" category, mixing name-brand fountain sodas with flavored syrups, fruit purees, and creams. Founded in April 2010 by Nicole Robison (Tanner) and her then-husband Todd Tanner in St. George, Utah, Swig grew from a single drive-by drink shop into a national franchise. Savory Restaurant Fund took a majority stake in 2017 and began franchising the concept in 2022; that November, family office The Larry H. Miller Company acquired majority ownership from Savory, which retained a minority stake and continues to lead franchise operations. Swig has since scaled past 160 locations across 16 states, driven heavily by TikTok and Instagram virality, celebrity fans including pop star Olivia Rodrigo, and a customer base skewing toward teens and young families making it a daily after-school and weekend ritual.
