ROLI is a London-based music technology company that designs expressive musical instruments and software to make learning and creating music more intuitive. Founded in 2009 by Roland Lamb, ROLI is best known for the Seaboard, a soft, touch-sensitive keyboard that pioneered MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression), and for the LUMI Keys and ROLI Piano range, which pair illuminated keys with the ROLI Learn app and, more recently, an AI Music Coach. After entering administration in 2021, the company was relaunched under founder Roland Lamb with a renewed focus on AI-powered music learning for consumers.
