Ontario Hydro

Ontario Hydro was the provincial Crown utility responsible for Canada's Ontario nuclear generating stations until its 1999 restructuring. Its research team, led by Gino Palumbo, developed the Electrosleeve nanocrystalline nickel repair process for steam generator tubing, and the utility later merged its intellectual property with Babcock & Wilcox to launch Integran Technologies.
