Nanollose

Nanollose Limited (ASX: NC6) is an Australian biomaterials company developing tree-free cellulose fibres made through microbial fermentation of agricultural and industrial waste streams. Its flagship product, Nullarbor, is a high-tenacity lyocell fibre developed jointly with Birla Cellulose that the company says is finer than silk and stronger than conventional wood-pulp lyocell, and it also produces Nufolium, a fibre aimed at nonwoven applications such as wipes. Nanollose was incorporated in 2014, listed on the ASX in October 2017, and is headquartered in Nedlands, Western Australia. The company has ongoing collaboration agreements with Birla Cellulose (Grasim Industries) in India for pilot-scale fibre production and with Paradise Textiles for yarn and fabric development, and has supplied fibre to Magnera Corporation (formerly Glatfelter) for nonwoven trials.
