Mocapay

Mocapay is a mobile and card-based payments company originally founded in 2006 in Denver, Colorado by Rod Stambaugh and Kevin Grieve as a mobile wallet and mobile marketing platform letting consumers use their phones as gift, loyalty, and payment cards at the point of sale. The company pivoted in 2012 from a per-transaction to a subscription model, and has since re-emerged as MOCA, a card issuing, processing, and program-management platform for financial institutions, government programs (including the PATRIOT Card for veterans), and other fintechs, now based in the Austin, Texas area.
