miituo

miituo is a Mexico City insurtech selling car insurance priced by the kilometer or by flat monthly subscription, aimed at the majority of Mexican vehicles that carry no cover at all. It has issued more than 150,000 policies with a 90% renewal rate, offering pay-per-kilometer cover from about MXN 0.54 per kilometer or MXN 257 a month against traditional annual premiums of MXN 12,000 to 18,000. Its policies are underwritten by Seguros Atlas.
