Hypersonica

Hypersonica is an Anglo-German defence and aerospace company developing sovereign, manoeuvrable hypersonic strike systems for European militaries. Founded in December 2023 by University of Oxford PhDs Dr. Philipp Kerth and Dr. Marc Ewenz, the company is building a fully European supply chain for hypersonic glide vehicles, targeting an initial strike capability by 2027 and full operational capability by 2029. In February 2026 it completed its first hypersonic test flight, exceeding Mach 6 over a range of more than 300 kilometres.
